Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.17.40 Release
Minecraft PE 1.17.40 update is part of one huge update called Caves and Cliffs. The update brought an incredible amount of changes to both the world itself and the gameplay.
The list of important changes can be noted such as new game rules – Respawn Blocks Explode, or the emergence of an experimental mode.
Amethyst
While in the caves, the player may notice an amethyst geode in Release Minecraft 1.17.40. It is a fairly large structure that consists of three layers: outer, middle and inner. The inner layer contains amethyst blocks and blooming amethyst.
By breaking a Blooming Amethyst, the player can receive an Amethyst Shard.
Experimental mode
In the Minecraft PE 1.17.40 update, a mode is available that will allow the user to try out experimental features from the Caves & Cliffs: Part II update. The functions can be activated in the world creation menu. With this option, multi-noise world generation will be applied in the game. This will add a new generation algorithm to the world of Minecraft 1.17.40.21, making terrain and biome transitions more natural.
The changes also affected mobs. For example, monsters now appear only in complete darkness. But do not forget that these innovations are still under development. This means that the player may face such problems as an error in the gameplay or even crash from the world.
Respawn blocks explode
This option will be very useful to every player. It was added by the developers at Mojang Studios in order to prevent the explosions of beds and spawn anchors in Minecraft 1.17.40. The option is applicable through the settings of the game world.
